Annual Dates & Deadlines

Aug 1^st:  Coaches or scheduling officers begin contacting each other & scheduling games.

Sept 1^st:  Proposals for any changes to By-Laws due to secretary@wwll.com.

Sept 14^th (2^nd Sun):  WWLL Fall Meeting for all coaches, team rep’s and officers via Zoom. 

Oct 15^th:  Complete WCLA Action Items before this date.  These include annual reactivation of your WCLA website page log-in credentials to be able to manually add your coach/officer contact information, your roster and your schedule.

Oct 30^th:  Deadline for teams to have paid league dues to the WWLL treasurer. Questions to treasurer@wwll.com.

Nov 1^st:  Schedules due completed in the WWLL Scheduler for commissioner review.

Dec 1^st:  WCLA Team Membership Application (on-line form only) due completed.  No payment is due on this transaction.

Dec 1^st:  WCLA team membership dues sent in by WWLL Treasurer to USA Lacrosse for team membership. This is covered by your WWLL team dues payment.

Dec 15^th:  Final schedule imported into Arbiter for referee assigning.  

Jan 2^nd (1^st Fri):  Final day to submit schedule change requests to the Commissioner & Secretary based on unforeseen circumstances.

Jan 18^th (3^rd Sun):  Pre-season meeting for all coaches, team rep’s and officers via Zoom.  6:30am Pacific Time / 7:30pm Arizona Time.

Before First Game or Feb 1^st, whichever is earlier:  Rosters entered on WWLL website, scanned copy of the WCLA Verification form e-mailed to the WCLA/WWLL Roster Liaison and the wet ink registrar office signed paper copy postmarked and mailed to roster liaison prior to your first game, or earlier. Use of certified mail with tracking suggested.

Feb 1^st:  Using your Sports Engine account on the WCLA website manually enter roster, schedule and current coach/officer contact information. See October 15th calendar item for access information.  

Feb 15^th:  WCLA Roster Liaison mails team provided WCLA verification rosters to the WCLA. No action needed from individual teams, as forms are due to WWLL before first game or Feb 1, whichever is earlier.

Spring 2026 Specific Dates

April 1^st:  Teams notify WWLL they will participate in playoffs if selected. Plan now to participate if you qualify.

April 5^th:  Last day to play a league game for play-off consideration. April 4th preferred.

April 9^th:  WCLA All-American and other individual awards nomination forms due.  Use the WCLA website as your resource for forms. 

April 12^th:  WWLL Playoffs participating teams announced.

April 18^th – 19^th:  WWLL Championship Tournament at UCSB.

April 19^th:  WWLL automatic qualifier (AQ) teams (both D1 & D2) due to WCLA before 6:00pm.

May 1^st:  WWLL Executive Committee team promotion and new teams meeting.  

May 11^th - 16^th:  WCLA National Championship Tournament, Paradise Coast Sports Complex, Naples, Florida.

Spring 2027 Specific Dates

April 17^th – 18^th:  WWLL Championship Tournament at TBD.
