Tucson, AZ - The UCSB B Team faced off against the only team from the University of Arizona in the second game of a double header at Murphy Field. The Wildcats jumped out to a 3-0 lead behind goals from Melissa Montoya (Scottsdale, AZ), Sarah Fuchs (Bayshore, NY) and Natalie Congleton (Denver, CO). After that the Gauchos scored 4 to Arizona's 3 and pulled to within 4-6 at the half. In the second half more goals by Montoya, Fuchs and Congleton gave the Wildcats an 8-4 half for the final 14-8 margin of victory. The game was a scrimmage for both teams since the UCSB B Team and Arizona compete in different divisions of the WWLL. The Wildcats are WWLL Division One and the UCSB B Team is in the WWLL B Division.
